As 2023 arrives, a lot of films and shows are coming in everyone's way and that includes Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in May. An image has been shared by USA Today for the third installment of the title and it teases the new suits of the team and the new arm of Nebula.
James Gunn returns to the director's chair one last time for the Marvel trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which teases a lot that will happen to the team. While some are worried that a few characters may die, many are excited to see what is in store for the Guardians, including their new suits!
USA Today released new images for the highly anticipated movies arriving this year which includes a new look at the team for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in their dapper new suits which is quite similar to that in the comics, and a tease on the new arm of Nebula, an upgrade on her body.
The image shows Drax, Mantis, Star-Lord/ Peter Quill and Nebula in Knowhere where they are now residing after buying the place from The Collector. They meet around a table and it seems Nebula is the center of attention. It shows off her new intricate mechanical left arm.
Coming in on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the team had a wonderful Christmas special with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special which confirmed that Star-Lord and Mantis are actually siblings, born of the same father, Ego.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will see the return of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord/ Peter Quill, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, with the voices of Bradley Cooper as Rocket, and Vin Diesel as Groot.
Aside from the original roster of the Guardians, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also have Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the Spacedog, and the debut of Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary, and Daniela Melchior and Nico Santos in undisclosed roles.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set a theatrical release on May 5, 2023.
