Before anything, let's talk about the character, Grover Underwood.

Grover joins Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase as the protagonists of the Percy Jackson novels. Unlike the two demigods, however, Grover is a satyr. A satyr is a creature with a human upper body and a goat's lower half.

Among humans, they appear clumsy and have to wear fake feet and a huge cap to hide their goat legs, hooves, and horns.

Grover has been assigned to look after Percy, who becomes his best friend after getting to know him for some time in boarding school.

Aryan Simhadri portrays the character of Grove. Although he is only 17 years old, Simhadri already has a solid resume.

Aside from starring in national commercials, he has starred in shows like Will & Grace, lent his voice to an animation, and played the lead in Spin, a Disney Original movie. He also acted on Broadway for Trevor: The Musical.

Now that he is part of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Simhadri's repertoire is bound to get bigger.

As explained in an interview with Teen Vogue, Simhadri was handpicked by the book's author, Rick Riordan, after looking at his tape.

When Riordan saw Simhadri's tape, he said: "Okay, that's it. We're not looking anymore."

In the third episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Annabeth (played by Leah Jeffries) and Percy (played by Walker Scobell) are on board a bus, arguing about allowing Percy to get off the bus and buy his own snack.

Annabeth suggests that Grover steps in to help convince Percy. To their shock, Grover starts clapping and hesitates about being the "tiebreaker." After saying he has a "better idea," Grover starts singing.

Annabeth and Percy have confused looks on their faces and aren't sure of what's happening so Grover tells them that it's the Consensus song.

The lyrics of the song Grover sings in Percy Jackson are as follows:

"Oh golly, the road's getting bumpy 'cause I got me some friends who just can't get along. Oh dear, when the team's getting grumpy, the trick to get through it is singing this song."

Grover says that verse two encourages each one to say nice things about each other to put an end to disagreements.

It's unclear whether this is a real song or something made for the character of Grover in the Percy Jackson series.

In the scene, however, we discover that Grover has a good singing voice.

And truthfully, this is one talent that Aryan Simhadri can do really well. Just check out Simhadri's cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep from eight years ago below:
