Will Poulter has officially made his MCU debut as Adam Warlock in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
As a part of Gunn’s last Marvel project, Poulter gets quite candid in which franchise film he would like to star in next for his future roles.
“If I could be part of another big franchise… I feel really lucky to have joined the MCU, especially aboard the weird and wacky Guardians train.” Poulter said in a recent interview with British GQ.
When asked if he sees himself starring in other MCU films, the actor shared, “Maybe I’d say, like Black Panther or the Avengers or something like that.”
In a previous interview with ScreenRant, the Maze Runner star admitted that “I don’t know where [Adam Warlock] is headed. And if I did, I would tell you, honestly, but I don’t.”
It remains to be seen what’s next for Warlock in the MCU franchise, however, it is worth mentioning that Poulter earned high praises from the director himself for playing the character well.

While a Black Panther involvement may sound far-fetched with Warlock, he definitely has a bigger chance in becoming one of Earth’s mightiest heroes.
Considering that Warlock has a special deep connection with Thanos in the comics, and even in other cosmic stories such as Fantastic Four, the GOTG 3 star may not be going on the shelf for a while.
As for potentially making the jump to the DCU alongside Gunn, Poulter had been initially suspected to become one of the DC Studios’ boss’ prospects in becoming his new Superman for Superman: Legacy.
To that, the actor had one thing to say: “No, I have not [auditioned for the role]. I haven’t.”
For now, all the actor can say is that, “I’m very grateful to be in this for the period of time that I am and grateful for that alone.”
