Currently, the public is trying their best to survive the fatal floods. To help them out, Jinyoung became one of the first idols to donate to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

Per Newsen (via Naver), the K-pop star earned praises for donating around $23,000 to help victims who lost their homes. His thoughtful move was similar to what he did back in 2020, donating even without informing his then-agency, JYP Entertainment.

Fans, in return, showered him with messages of gratitude and praised him for being considerate to others.

GOT7 Jinyoung’s Philanthropy

Before his recent donation, Jinyoung has already been donating to several charities and organizations to help people in need.

In February 2020, the K-pop idol joined the long list of donors who helped the wild animals affected by fires in Australia.

“It is true that Jinyoung donated money to the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement,” JYP Entertainment confirmed at that time.

KFEM is the third-largest environmental non-profit organization in the world and the only one in Korea that extends its help globally.

During the same year, he did what he recently accomplished by giving the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association a whopping amount of nearly $17,000 to aid the flood victims in the country.

Aside from the GOT7 member, Han Hyo Joo, Park Shin Hye, Park Bo Young, Yoon Se Ah, and Chun Woo Hee also donated to the organization.
