GOT7 JAY B has a habit of helping other people when he is not performing on stage.

For years, JAY B has been renowned for his philanthropy and projects to help several causes and foundations. It all started when the damaging Pohang earthquake happened, and people launched the Pohang Earthquake Relief Fund to help the victims of the tragic event. At that time, he reportedly donated 10 million KRW (nearly $8,500) under his real name.

He also donated the same whopping amount to Hope Bridge Relief Association amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Most recently, the K-pop idol reached a new milestone in his philanthropic works.

GOT7 JAY B Enters Green Noble Club

On December 7, JAY B officially became a member of ChildFund Korea's Green Noble club after donating a total of 100 million KRW (approximately $84,940) since he began helping the organization. He started his works as its ambassador for the 3rd Thank You Letter contest before donating all the profits from his photography merchandise earlier this year.

With his inclusion in the Green Noble Club, he joins the list of individuals who have donated the same amount so far. TVXQ's Changmin, BTS' J-Hope, and Kim Yoo Jung have been part of it for years. Meanwhile, Chungha and BTS' Jimin became members.

JAY B's donations have already helped a massive community, and his recent contribution will go straight to the young victims of abuse who are in need.

"By gathering all the love from my fans, I was able to make such a big donation. Since I'm not donating alone but joining in on this donation with my fans, it's that much more meaningful," he said after receiving the recognition.

Meanwhile, ChildFund Korea's president Lee Je Hoon thanked JAY B for his deep connection with the organization and his continuous assistance for the children.

JAY B Works Harder For His Career, Too

While he is busy helping other people, JAY B ensures he is also blooming his career even more.

After he and the rest of the GOT7 members left JYP Entertainment, all of them agreed to continue working as a boy group despite having different agencies. Yugyeom is currently under AOMG, while Mark Tuan has already signed a contract with the US-based label, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Jackson Wang and Young Jae, on the other hand, signed with Sublime Agency. Meanwhile, Jinyoung and Bambam are now part of BH Entertainment and Abyss Company.

For JAY B's part, he secured a contract with Jay Park's H1GHR MUSIC, where he believes he could accomplish his goals as a solo artist.
