Good Omens Season 2: Neil Gaiman Teases David Tennant's Return as Crowley

Crowley is officially back! Neil Gaiman has shared our first look at David Tennant's return as Aziraphale's demon BFF in Good Omens Season 2.

The photo was originally shared by David's wife Georgia Tennant on her official Twitter account. "He's like fire," Tennant wrote along with the devil emoji. It didn't take long before Gaiman retweeted the post with a teasing caption of his own.

"Who could this be, with hair so ginger and glare so intense? Who?" Gaiman wrote.

Well, if we had to guess, it's probably the demon who stopped Armageddon with the angel named Aziraphale in an effort to keep enjoying the finer things that the world has to offer.

It shouldn't be a surprise that Tennant is returning as Crowley in Good Omens Season 2. After all, we already saw a glimpse at Michael Sheen's transformation into Aziraphale. It's hard to imagine the second season without the duo and we're glad to see that both Tennant and Sheen are now ready to start working on the series.

Gaiman had previously confirmed that Good Omens Season 2 is happening and will adapt the plans he and co-author Terry Pratchett had for a sequel. Unfortunately, Pratchett passed away before they could work on the second novel so we're loving the fact that the show will be adapting it in the second season. Since it's a completely new story, fans who loved the book would have no idea what will be happening in the sequel.

Season 2 was only confirmed back in June and there were initial concerns that the series will not start production until next year. However, the second season has started filming this week and is now expected to wrap up before the end of the year.

Good Omens Season 2 is still in production and has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
