Good Omens Season 2 Could Pit Aziraphale And Crowley Against [SPOILERS]

The Apocalypse is finally here and there is little doubt that the first season of Good Omens is a delightful adaptation of the beloved novel. But did it also confirm what would happen in Season 2? It certainly looks like Aziraphale and Crowley could be facing more trouble soon.

WARNING: The following article contains spoilers from the first season of Good Omens. Proceed with caution.

In the sixth episode The Very Last Day of the Rest of Their Lives, the angel and the demon managed to sneak away from Heaven and Hell and relax at a park. Not surprisingly, their conversation turns to what could possibly happen now that they somehow had a hand at preventing Apocalypse. Crowley is quick to remind Aziraphale that their visit to the park is merely "breathing space before the big one."

Of course, Aziraphale isn't having any of it, insisting that they have prevented the final attempt at ending the world. However, Crowley is still convinced that the next war will be "all of us against all of them." By us, he means Earth and by them, he is referring to Heaven and Hell.

So could this confirm that Good Omens Season 2 is actually happening? It's important to remember that Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett never actually wrote a sequel to the novel. However, they did consider working on a second book.

For now, it's still unclear if Good Omens Season 2 is actually happening. Amazon has not yet confirmed or denied the show's renewal but in case it does happen, there could be an even bigger war happening in the future.
