General Grievous is Now Playable in Star Wars Battlefront II

It seems like fans may have forgiven EA for their various misdeeds as Star Wars Battlefront II is now a quality multiplayer shooter that most fans can enjoy. Sure, it still has microtransactions but the game has now been redesigned to the point that earning all of the in-game bonuses can be done by simply playing. As we wait for more free DLC, fans will be happy to know that the latest Battlefront II update is out so General Grievous will be playable today.

Grievous is one of the few menacing droids in the Star Wars franchise, managing to kill Jedi and leading a good part of the Empire. The droid also has a great menacing character design, so the fact that he was treated like a joke in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith continues to baffle many. Still, fans who thought that the villain deserves more justice can now give it to him themselves by playing as him.

Fans who want more heroes are in luck as Obi-Wan Kenobi is the next DLC character headed to the game. This is great for those that loved Clone Wars since it will allow them to play out some of their favorite moments with Kenobi, who remains a fan-favorite no matter the trilogy.

Players will have to earn in-game credits if they want to play as Grievous or unlock some costumes for the game's huge roster. It shouldn't be an impossible task and fans will soon wreak havoc as one of the series' best droids.

Some progress had to be made but Star Wars Battlefront II is officially a good game. You can get it now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
