Star Wars Battlefront II: Fan Makes Chart of All Free Content That's Come to the Game Since Launch

Star Wars Battlefront II launched with such a bad rep that a year since its release, some fans are still poking fun at how terrible EA is and how this game is ‘dead.' Interestingly enough, the game has vastly improved since launch, and a fan has put together a chart to recap the first year of Battlefront II and all the free content that's come to the game.

Check it out:

Admittedly, the releases come months between each other, but this slow progression could be because of EA porting over developers from this game to work on Battlefield V. With BFV officially out, some fans are crossing their fingers that devs will be brought back to Battlefront II, and content will be coming out more regularly moving forward.

Ever since launch, DICE has greatly improved the progression system and has made everything available through sheer hard work and gameplay. They've also reduced the in-game prices for upcoming heroes so players don't feel like they have to work too hard to be able to play.

Of course, the game still uses crystals that you could purchase, but they're used purely for cosmetic items so you can't say that BFII is ‘pay-to-win.'

Even with all the changes, there are still some people who think that Battlefront II was as bad as launch, and are hoping to find a way to get everyone interested in the game again. I'd say the PR team has one hell of a job to do if they ever want to ‘re-launch' Battlefront II.

If it worked for No Man's Sky, I bet they could do the same for something as big as Star Wars.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
