There has been this persistent rumor that's been going on for years now that Gal Gadot was among the "victims" of director Joss Whedon's poor treatment of actors on the set of Justice League but the Wonder Woman 1984 actress has chosen to keep mum regarding the controversy despite her co-star Ray Fisher's exposes about the director's unacceptable behavior and he's had some trouble with Warner Bros. Pictures' executives for his revelations.

Now, the DCEU star is coming out to reveal that she has in fact had her fair share of unpleasant experiences with the Avengers director. In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, Gadot praised the Cyborg actor for speaking his truth but she claims that she wasn't on the set of the 2017 film when the "Whedon horror stories" occurred. Gal also shared that the issue was resolved in an instant as soon as she told WB about it. "I'm happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth. I wasn't there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon — I had my own experience with [him], which wasn't the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I'm happy for Ray to go up and say his truth."

It's really sad that people like Gal and Ray had to put up with such an unhealthy working environment, but at least the actress can talk about it now, and she's able to stand up for the other folks who might have had a similar experience. For all we know, there are other victims out there who are just afraid to speak up.

Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere in cinemas and HBO Max on December 25.
