Jungkook on Rolling Stone’s The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time List

Jungkook and fellow K-pop idol IU made it to Rolling Stone’s list of “The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.” They’re only the K-pop stars to do so.

The list spans multiple decades and a wide array of genres, topped by Aretha Franklin herself.

“Keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices list…,” the publication noted. “In all cases, what mattered most to us was originality, influence, the depth of an artist’s catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy.”

Jungkook was placed at No. 191, and Kristine Kwak listed his great musical talents that made him part of the list.

“The multifaceted youngest member of BTS boasts a long list of talents—he’s a strong performer, written several songs, and is known to be extremely hardworking and humble despite the success he’s experienced at such an early age. He’s also an extremely gifted singer,” she wrote.
