BigBang’s T.O.P gives everyone a good look at his new visuals ahead of his upcoming moon expedition in billionaire Yusaku Maezawa’s dearMoon Project.

T.O.P seems to be preparing for the voyage, making him the first South Korean civilian to visit the moon. His new visuals in question can be seen on a set of stunning new profile photos, which he captioned with “Dear Moon, TOP.”

T.O.P’s New Look for Upcoming Moon Expedition

The idol shared a couple of his new profile photos on Instagram Friday, December 30.

According to AllKpop, the snaps may probably be used as his profile photos for the upcoming dearMoon Project.

The 35-year-old will lead the journey to the universe that will run for a week with other crew members.

As usual, T.O.P shows his exquisite look, with a touch of maturity, hinting at his readiness for the expedition.

T.O.P Shares Feelings on Space Expedition

Meanwhile, T.O.P shares his feelings for being one of the crew members for the historical space expedition.

In a different post on Instagram on December 12, he shared a photo of a painting of the words “Dear Moon.”

“Personally, four years ago, when I had the hardest time, my dear friend Joel painted this for me. This was not an accidental miracle. This was a fateful encounter created by greatness in ART,” he captioned the post.

It was confirmed earlier this month that T.O.P would be part of the dearMoon Project, a lunar tourism project by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX.

It aims to succeed in the first-ever expedition of private civilians to the moon, including the DJ and producer Steve Aoki, the photographer Rhiannon Adam, filmmaker Karim Iliya, choreographer Yemi A.D., musician and YouTuber Tim Dood, and actor Dev Joshi.

It also includes the two reserve crew members, snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington and dancer Miyu.

The Announcement of T.O.P’s Part in the dearMoon Project

On December 9, the dearMoon Project formally announced T.O.P’s part in the moon expedition, happening sometime in 2023.

“I’m so honored to have been selected to be one of the crew members on the dearMoon Project,” the BigBang member said. “Ever since I was little, I always fantasized about space and the moon. I’m looking forward to my own personal growth through this Project, and I want to feel new types of thrills and enlightenment.”
