Taeyang shared two pictures of him working in a studio with another guy whose back was in front of the camera. As expected, fans quickly analyzed who this man was from his stand to his fingers.
Taeyang’s Mysterious Collaborator
The 34-year-old didn’t explain anything about the post and simply captioned it with hashtag 2023.
It was the first time he posted anything on Instagram after wiping it clean last year, hinting at his comeback and dropping a new solo album with Jimin as his collaborator.
So, what makes fans think that it was Jimin in the picture?
According to Koreaboo, the mysterious guy in the picture’s pose is similar to Jimin’s favorite power pose, putting his two hands on his waist.

Fans also noticed that the guy’s hand is like Jimin’s, seemingly confirming that it’s indeed the BTS member in the snaps.

However, analyzing the pictures further, one netizen explained that it might have been taken long ago when they were working in a studio, considering the length of Jimin’s hair.
YG Entertainment Responds to Alleged Jimin x Taeyang Collaboration
YG Entertainment broke its silence to the claims that Taeyang and Jimin would collaborate, which would be part of the former’s alleged comeback solo album, set for a January release.
“We’re currently checking [whether it’s true],” it said, per Soompi.
The rumors allegedly came from multiple industry insiders. BigHit Music, alternatively, is yet to address the issue.
Taeyang surprised everyone when he wiped his Instagram clean last year, sparking several comeback speculations.
It was his first social media post since leaving YG and moving to The Black Label.
