Fairy Tail Is Getting A Spinoff Focused On Happy

It looks like Fairy Tail fans are getting a spinoff focused on Happy.

Earlier this year, Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima told fans that he was working on three projects, a sequel to the manga, a spinoff called City Hero and a secret project that he would announce later on.

Fans have been busy speculating what this secret project might be and now, thanks to Pitch-Black Ten creator Kenshiro Sakamoto we finally know that the secret project's actually going to be a spinoff with Happy as its lead star.

Taking To Twitter, Sakamoto, announced that he's going to work on Fairy Tail: Happy's Grand Adventure, a Fairy Tale spinoff that's going to focus on the show's energetic happy blue cat, Happy.

Though there isn't any confirmation whether Happy's Grand Adventure actually is the secret project that was originally announced by Mashima, but it seems pretty likely. The project sounds pretty different from a Fairy Tail sequel and the spinoff City Hero.

Right now, there aren't that many details about Happy's Grand Adventure, but news of the third Fairy Tail project sounds exciting enough, especially now that the shonen manga series is all done and gone.

Happy's Grand Adventure doesn't have a release date just yet, but we're hoping we'll get word soon.
