Extraordinary Attorney Woo will become more extraordinary soon.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo is yet to complete its stint on Netflix and ENA, but the K-drama has already been storming the streaming site and network since its arrival on June 29.

It is an ongoing Park Eun Bin-led K-drama about Woo Young Woo, a lawyer diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Her case and 164 IQ do not stop her from working at a large law firm.

However, her emotional intelligence and poor social skills affect her life.

Following the recent spike of its viewership ratings, Extraordinary Attorney Woo announced a milestone in its run.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo To Turn Into Webtoon

Several K-dramas were based on novels and webtoons, but Extraordinary Attorney Woo would become one of the first series to receive a webtoon adaptation instead.

The series’ production house, ASTORY, announced that the K-drama would be adapted into a 60-episode webtoon series. It will be released in four languages — Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.

The Korea Times, however, noted that the release date remains unknown. But webtoon fans will have more as more K-dramas will also receive an adaptation.

Aside from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, more dramas like Hur Jun, Temptation of Wife, Healer, and Be Melodramatic will also be adapted into webtoons in the next few years.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Inspires Lead Star Park Eun Bin

During a separate press conference, actress Park Eun Bin opened up about her role and why it required her to be more prudent.

"The first thing I did was to stay away from simply imitating how such a character has been portrayed in the media in the past. Because my acting could run the risk of spreading wrong, biased ideas (about the disability), it was a job that required my utmost discretion,” she said.

Fans can see more of her by watching the K-drama every Wednesday and Thursday on ENA. It is also available on Seezn and Netflix.
