The South Korean series follows the story Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), an autistic lawyer, working at a large law firm called Hanbada. The legal drama has been dominating Netflix's global charts since it was released on June 29, 2022.

Is Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2 happening?
Before we answer that question, let's remember that the production companies behind Extraordinary Attorney Woo are AStory, KT Studio Genie, and Nangman Crew. Netflix and South Korean's ENA are just the distributors, so it looks like the ultimate decision to renew the show is not up to Netflix.
On Aug 17., president Lee Sang Baek of ASTORY, the production company behind the hit legal drama series, confirmed that Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been renewed for Season 2.
In a recent interview (via Soompi), the K-drama's director Yoo In-shik mentioned that the ratings and rankings of the show are crucial to the confirmation of a second season. Yoo went on to say that it's difficult to gather the entire cast again and match their schedules for additional filming.
During the interview, Yoo went on to share his gratitude for the support that the show has received.
"I started off thinking that it’d be nice to make a drama that’s like a little garden where people can visit and take a break, but I feel like in an instant, it has turned into a field filled with blooming flowers. I’d like to think that our viewers already had much larger and richer fields in their hearts than we expected."

Is Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2 coming soon?
Here's what president Lee said about the renewal:
"Thanks to the support of many viewers, 'Attorney Woo' will return with season 2. We hope to air the second season some time in 2024. However, the process of adjusting the schedules of all of the cast members and crew will pose as a significant challenge. Nonetheless, we plan to proceed with season 2 without any cast member changes, or any changes to the production staff."
Since Extraordinary Attorney Woo just came out in mid 2022, fans will have to wait until 2024 for the new episodes to arrive on Netlfix. As expected, the streamer's schedule of upcoming movies and TV shows in November 2022 doesn't include Season 2.
