EXO Kai will be the next member to launch a solo project while the K-pop group prepares for a comeback with all its members.

EXO-Ls has not heard from EXO since June 2021 due to the members' military enlistments and the other's individual endeavors. For instance, Xiumin and Chen both released new music in the past months. D.O. also continues his career as an actor.

EXO's main dancer Kai will release his new solo album this year.

EXO Kai's Solo Comeback Happening This 2023

On Feb. 14, Kai gave his fans the best Valentine's Day gift as a news outlet confirmed he has been preparing to drop new music.

According to SPOTV, the idol would release his new solo album in March. It will mark his first solo project in a year and four months following the release of his second album, Peaches, in November 2021.

Kai debuted with his first solo album, Kai, in November 2020.

The publication's report resonated with what he told his fans during his appearance at the Stage W in Mokpo Concert on Oct. 2. At that time, he revealed he would start working on his third solo album and prepare for a concert.

Kai recently wrapped up his solo live event, Kai Japan Special Live 2023.

EXO Ranks 4th on Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings For the Month of February

While waiting for Kai's solo comeback, EXO-L's celebrated the group's recent milestone after the Korean Business Research Institute released its brand reputation rankings for this month.

For the male idol groups list, EXO secured the fourth spot by having a brand reputation index of 3 million. The group saw a 9.62 increase compared to last month's index.

BTS topped the list for the 57th consecutive month, boasting a 7 million brand reputation index. Following it on the list are SEVENTEEN and NCT, which secured second and third places, respectively.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG ranked fifth after having a whopping 63.16 increase in its brand reputation index compared to January.

TXT, SUPER JUNIOR, THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, SHINee, STRAY KIDS ASTRO, BTOB, ENHYPEN, TREASURE, WINNER, INFINITE, VIXX ONF and PENTAGON completed the top 20.
