As the status of the pandemic began quieting down in the past years, Eric Nam became the latest K-pop act to join several Korean musicians in holding concerts once again.

Since 2019, K-pop fans have been missing their Korean idols since the pandemic closed all the usual concert venues all over the world. To fill the gap temporarily, musicians began offering online concerts and broadcasts to keep in touch with their fandoms.

But the wait is finally over for Eric Nam's fans as the singer recently unveiled his upcoming tour.

On Monday, Eric Name unveiled the official poster of his upcoming There And Back Again World Tour 2022. The shows will be part of his new sophomore album with the same name, which will be released next year.

He will initially focus on European and North American countries, and the success of these shows might determine whether he would also hold the concert in Asia. As of the moment, only 46 cities made it to the list. He shared the poster on his Instagram account alongside a lengthy caption where he expressed his excitement.

"I am so incredibly stoked to get back on the road and to do what I love the most, which is to perform on stage and to meet with my fans. For the first time, I'll be joined by a live band, reunited with my incredible dancers/crew, and playing a brand new album. I can't wait to see you all and put on an unforgettable tour," he said.

Eric Nam also revealed that ticket selling will begin on Friday through his website, ericnam.com.

The K-pop star's There And Back Again World Tour 2022 will begin on January 24 at The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by more cities, including Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and his hometown of Atlanta.

After his North American leg, he will continue embarking to Europe and the UK around Spring 2022.

Eric Nam's new announcement came after returning to the spotlight with his single, I Don't Know You Anymore. The K-pop idol collaborated with GRAMMY Award nominate Rabbit and director Scott Lazer.

He called his return a new era of music as his latest project offers a unique sound, new album, and world tour. It marks his first release as an independent artist. Although the risk scared him, he put all his trust in his fans, who kept on supporting him.

In a recent interview with NME, the idol revealed how his new song helped him unleash a better version of himself and cooler music that he wanted to show for a long time.
