Belift Lab pushed ENHYPEN to come back strong after most of its members tested for COVID-19.

The K-pop industry had been hit with tragic news after five members of ENHYPEN tested positive for COVID-19. This affected the group's supposed September comeback, as announced by the agency in August.

Ahead of the supposed return, members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Jungwoon contracted the dreaded disease. A few days later, member Ni-ki also tested positive for COVID-19.

Weeks after, Belift Lab confirmed that the members finally recovered from the disease. To mark their recovery, the agency and the group said that ENHYPEN would release its first full-length album on October 12.

Weeks after Dimension: Dilemma's arrival, the album reached a new record in Japan's Oricon.

ENHYPEN Stands No. 1 On Oricon

Oricon announced last week that the boy group made it to the top list of its weekly album chart.

For the week of October 25, the first full-length album reportedly scored 125,455 score. The points came from Dimension: Dilemma's streams, digital downloads, and physical album sales. The album reportedly sold over 500,000 copies on its first day.

The new album features its lead track, Tamed Dashed, along with seven other songs. The other tracks are Intro: Whiteout, Interlude: Question, Upper Side Dreamin', I Didn't Know, Go Big Or Go Home, Attention, please!, and Blockbuster.

Winning the top spot on Oricon is not new to the group anymore, as their previous EP, Border: Carnival also topped the same chart on May 10.

ENHYPEN will celebrate their first debut anniversary on November 30, and they already gifted themselves with awards and records before that.

Following the album's success, the K-pop boy group sat down for an interview with Billboard News' Tetris Kelly.

The host asked the secret behind the album's lead single, Tamed-Dashed, which immediately garnered 14 million views on YouTube during its first week of release. Member Jay explained the story behind their choice why they made it an American football-themed video.

"illustrates the story of boys who discover themselves after questioning their identity in the midst of a dilemma. I think the scenes we shot in the school and beach setting did a perfect job of reflecting the youthful and refreshing vibes that we wanted to portray. We have a fond memory of hanging out on the beach together after shooting the video...so we're happy to see that ENGENEs seem to be enjoying it as much as we had fun filming it," he said.

Dimension: Dilemma serves as the continuation of their story as a group. It also highlights what happened to them and how much they have grown in the months following their debut.

Amid the success, ENHYPEN did not forget to take their fans, ENGENEs, who have been there since the beginning. In the end, they promised to express themselves more through their upcoming activities.
