Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was definitely one of the most surprisingly successful fantasy films that hit the big screens this year.
Apart from its timely release in which people and Stranger Things fans have begun returning to play the fantasy game, the film actually managed to surpass Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 4 at the box office.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves tells the story of a group of thieves who go on a quest to defeat an ancient villain, and save Edgin Darvis’ (Chris Pine) Kira.
Unfortunately, as you can tell, embarking on this quest required more than just facing a mere adventure amongst an unlikely team of bandits.
As Gizmodo reports, seeing as Dungeons & Dragons was released under Paramount, it only makes sense that Paramount+ will be its streaming home.
Now, the film has been reported to start streaming on Paramount+ starting on May 16, in addition to its digital download release (arriving in 4K and Blu-Ray) slated on May 30.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves premiered on March 31, marking a one-month gap between its theatrical release before landing on its streamer.
Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the Dungeons & Dragons film also featured the cast of D&D web series Critical Role in cameo appearances in the film.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves movie also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant.
Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures has greenlit an eight-episode series adaptation of D&D, which will be directed by Red Notice director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who also wrote the pilot of the series.
The live-action series will be joining the Halo series, which is another show based on the beloved game, on Paramount+.
While plot details are still being kept under wraps for this live-action series, it is important to note that this is a separate canon plot from the 2023 film.
It is also worth mentioning that since the WGA writers’ strike is still ongoing, the live-action series will likely face multiple delays until AMPTP resolves the negotiation issue with Hollywood’s writers guild.
