Dune Star Zendaya Teases Instant Chemistry with Timothée Chalamet

There is little doubt that everyone is currently waiting for the release of the Dune trailer. While we're all waiting for the first footage from the highly anticipated Denis Villeneuve film, Zendaya assures fans that they will immediately sense the chemistry between her and co-star Timothée Chalamet. After all, the two actors immediately got along as soon as they met.

Zendaya recently spoke to Empire magazine as part of the publication's special Dune cover (via Discussing Film). When asked what it was like working with the Call Me By Your Name actor, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star confirmed that they were buddies at first sight.

"I met Timothée Chalamet at my chemistry-read [for Dune]," Zendaya said. "I felt like we'd known each other forever, like he was my homie growing up. We became really great friends."

So what does she think about Chalamet? Zendaya's words are pretty much what everybody already says about the actor. "He's very talented, he's brilliant," she said.

There is little doubt that the chemistry between Zendaya and Chalamet is a very important thing. After all, she plays Chani, the woman who haunts Paul Atreides in his dreams. Needless to say, we can't wait to see both of them in action this week.

The first trailer for Dune was initially expected to be released in August but has been delayed and will be dropped on September 9. The film is scheduled for release on December 18.
