Latest Dune Image Shows How Large The Harkonnen Army Will Be

Dune continues to be the most anticipated movie of 2020, though the constant threat of COVID-19 has made it kind of hard to be excited about films. That being said, there is no denying how stellar the movie has looked thus far. You'd think that another reboot would have people being all grumpy about it but since we haven't seen an adaptation of this popular franchise for the longest time, we're willing to make an exception.

Now, look at that image below. Look at The Harkonnen Army and how vast it will be. That is pretty darn awesome. We're sure this will look really impressive in cinemas and the people who decide to risk their lives to see it will surely be pleased. Everyone else should stay at home and wait for this to hit some sort of streaming service.

Considering the all-star cast and director Denis Villeneuve directing this reboot, you can see why so many people are excited for Dune. While there are those who love the first adaptation from David Lynch, it is in need of an update, and Lynch himself isn't a huge fan of what he made so here's hoping Villeneuve is allowed more creative freedom.

A mythic and emotionally charged hero's journey, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity's greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

Dune is slated for a December 18 release, one week before Christmas.
