Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Promo Teases Broly's Role in The Movie

Son Gohan, Piccolo, and other Z-Fighters are set to return to the big screens to battle the Red Ribbon Army, the criminal organization initially introduced in the original Dragon Ball series.

Set after the events of 2018's Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will put other key characters in the Akira Toriyama's shonen franchise in the spotlight, like Bulma, Pan, Krillin, Goten, and Trunks while Goku and Vegeta are taking care of other matters in outer space. Now, a new promo for the movie shares a new look at Broly, Piccolo's new form, and Dr. Hedo's androids, and many others.

Twitter outlet @DbsHype shared the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero promo, giving us a new look at many of the characters confirmed to appear. While the mysterious villain teased in the latest trailer is not present in this promo, other villains like Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are shown as well as their creator Dr. Hedo, who's working for the Red Ribbon Army.

One of the most interesting characters in this promo is Broly, who returned to the planet he called home following being jettisoned from Planet Vegeta. Although the former villain is not the focal point of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero's story, it looks like he will be training alongside Goku and Vegeta on the planet of Whis and Beerus.

As you can see the legendary Saiyan is accompanied by Cheelai, who appears to be holding a baby. It's still unclear if Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will see Broly fight any of the villains that will be featured in the movie.
