Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will see the return of Broly, but unlike the previous movie, the legendary Saiyan will not be the focal point and villain in the highly-anticipated shonen film that will see Son Gohan, Piccolo, and the other Z-Fighters battle against a newly-formed Red Ribbon Army, the criminal organization that was first introduced in the original Dragon Ball series.
Instead of fighting his fellow Saiyans, Broly will be training with Goku and Vegeta in the planet of Whis and Beerus, and it's rumored that the movie will show him unleashing his rage form again, but this time, he's trying to master how to control this incredible power.
Now, a new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero image from a page of a recent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump reveals Broly teaming-up with Goku and Vegeta.
Twitter user @DbsHype shared a photo from the Japanese magazine, but it's still unclear what roles the trio of Saiyans will play in the movie since it will be Gohan and Piccolo who are revealed to deal with the Red Ribbon Army's newandroids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

Fans are surely excited to see Broly team-up with Goku and Vegeta for the first time ever, but what villain could possibly be powerful enough that would require them to join forces? Maybe they will fight the mysterious villain housed inside the headquarters of the Red Ribbon Army, which many are speculating to be Cell.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was originally set to release in Japanese theaters April 2022, but due to the Toei Animation hack, the studio had to push back the release date to June 11, 2022. The movie is also expected to release in North America and other regions this summer.
