Granolah the Survivor Saga is a revenge-driven story about Granolah, the lone survivor of the Cerealian race whose main goal is to kill Frieza and avenge the extermination of his race. However, the space crime syndicate known as the Heeters are able to convince Granolah that the Saiyans too are responsible for the tragic past of his race. However, Granolah learns the truth about how a Saiyan named Bardock (Goku's father) saved him forty years ago. It turns out that the real villains of this arc are the Heeters, who is able to gather all seven Dragon Balls to make Gas the strongest warrior in the universe.

In the previous chapter of Dragon Ball Super, Granolah eats the Senzu bean that Vegeta gave him so he can recover the strength he needs to fight the power-boosted Gas. They get into an intense fight, and Gas continues to manifest various weapons he uses against the Cerealian warrior.

In the final moments of Chapter 79, Gas punches Granolah in the stomach with a powerful punch, then fires a Ki wave at him. Granolah flies off. Goku and Vegeta are surprised to see that Gas is not using his weapons. Gas also seems surprised at his own power.

Granolah returns to the battle and rips off his jacket, which had been badly damaged by the villain's attack, and Granolah tells him that he doesn't think he's showed all of his power.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 80, which is titled Gas vs. Granolah, Part 2, will most likely see the two fighters clash without holding back their powers. No major spoilers have been revealed yet, but you can check out the first look released from the official Dragon Ball website:

As you can see above, the first look promises the continuation of the intense fight between Granolah and Gas. More drafts will arrive on Jan. 14.

Over on Twitter, outlet DBSChronicles shared draft pages for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 80, and as you can see below, the fight is becoming more intense, but it seems it's taking to long for Granolah to finish Gas, so the villain is able to read his techniques. Expect the official Dragon Ball website to share more draft pages prior to the new chapter's release.

Update: Mugiwara_23 has shared major spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 80: The chapter begins with Gas enraged by Granolah's attacks. Gas increases his Ki and goes down to the ground to fight Granolah. He says that he could see all of Granolah's tricks.

Gas attacks Granolah but Granolah manages to move faster, and avoids all of Gas' attacks. Granolah kicks Gas but he resists the attack.

Oil says that even though Gas is more powerful, he still loses when it comes to techniques against Granolah, and Maki says that it's not the end yet because Gas is still standing.

Gas and Granolah attack each other several times at the same time, and it looks like Gas is able to manage Granolah's movements little-by-little more clearly. Granolah looks tired.

Vegeta says Granolah is taking too long to finish Gas off and Gas is getting used to Granolah's moves.

Gas finally manages to hit Granolah with a hook to the chin, then he attacks Granolah confidently. However, a copy of Granolah appears from the side and kicks Gas. Another Granolah copy appears behind Gas and kicks him to the sky.

Eight more Granolah copies appear in the sky around Gas and start shooting Ki projectiles to Gas with his fingers, but Gas resists the attack and goes for Granolah's copies, hitting them all. He lands back to the ground.

Gas says that using a technique like that is stupid because creating so many copies splits the power too much.

Granolah's coies try to attack Gas again, and Gas asks if this is a desperate attack. Gas creates "Ki spears" with his fingers that pierce Granolah's copies' abdomens, and they're all trapped.

Suddenly, original Granolah appears right in front of Gas with his fingers charged with Ki. He was waiting for the moment when Gas could not defend himself to attack him.

Granolah cancels his coy technique to recover 100% of his strength and attacks Gas with powerful Ki projectile. Gas goes through several rocks and is threw a great distance, then Gas falls unconscious into a lake or river. Oil and Maki fly to the rescue.

Granolah falls to his knees, bleeding and exhausted. Goku wonders what's wrong, and Vegeta explains that the damage Gas has done to his copies also affects Granolah's original body.

Monaito runs to Granolah to aid him, but Granolah tells him to leave because the fight is not over yet.

Oil and Maki save Gas. Granolah's attack has inflicted a lot of damage on Gas. Elec appears behind them and ask Gas what's wrong, since it doesn't look like him. Granolah looks surprised to see Elec.

Maki asks Elec if he formulated the wish properly, since Gas can't handle Granolah. Elec tells her the wish was made correctly, and that Gas is the strongest warrior in the universe without a doubt.

Elec removes the pendant from Gas' forehead, and tells him that it's useless to be the strongest warrior in the universe if his power is sealed. Elec tells Gas to release his instinct.

Oil wonders if this is the right choice. Maki says Gas failed 40 years ago because of this, and that he might not be able to control himself again.

Gas starts to lose control, and Elec tells him to resist since he's not the same as before. Gas energy is out control, then he flies away. As he flies, his body changes, with his muscles enlarging, breaking his clothes. Various social media outlets have already shared a look at the new form ahead of the manga chapter's release.

Two big horns grow downwards from the sides of his forehead (they look like the tusks of a walrus). Monaito is shocked when he sees Gas, and he says that it's not the same form Gas adopted 40 years ago when Bardock fought him.

Monaito says that Gas abandoned his ego to change, and Granolah also looks shocked, and says that he couldn't believe that Gas kept an ace up his sleeve.

Gas attacks Granolah, who dodges the attack at the time, but Gas manages to grab his leg and hits him with an electric shock. Then Gas slams Granolah to the ground and throws him into the woods. Granolah gets u but it looks like his eye is injured.

Goku and Vegeta are astonished at what they're watching.

Gas gets up from the ground, and Granolah can barely move. Gas lands at Granolah's feet and starts punching him brutally in the face. Maki is paralyzed.

Goku says that they must do something or Gas is going to kill Granolah; Vegeta asks Monaito what Bardock did to stop Gas in the past, and Monaito says that he's sorry that he lost consciousness so he didn't see what Bardock did.

Maki and Oil arrive where Gas is, and Maki tells Gas to not destroy everything and that he must stay unconscious. Gas stops for a moment but then releases Granolah and his brothers. Then he bangs his head against a rock.

Elec also arrives, and Oil and Maki tell him that it's useless. Gas has gone crazy. Elec tells them to not worry because the strongest warrior in the universe also has the power to control himself.

Gas flies out again, but this time, he attacks Goku and Vegeta. Gas kicks Vegeta and slams him into some rocks, then he punches him. Goku tries to defend Vegeta but Gas stops his punch, and when he looks at Goku, he remembers a memory.

A flashback begins with the last moment of Gas vs. Bardock. Bardock looks at Gas just like how Goku looks at him in the present. Bardock is injured and his armor is heavily-damaged.

Bardock gathers a huge amount of Ki on his right hand in the form of a sphere (like the attack he used against Frieza in the anime special). Bardock attacks Gas, who's using his current out-of-control form, with a huge Ki blast.

Back to the present, although Gas is blocking Goku's punch, his memories makes him lose his stability and Goku's punch hurts him. Gas is seating a lot, and he looks confused and scared after remembering Bardock.

Elec shows up, flying on top of Gas, and he tells him that he will never lose again. Gas reacts to his brother, and the body of Gas transforms again and he regains consciousness.

Gas returns to his adult form, his muscles decrease, but he keeps the horns on his forehead as well as a new suit (just like the old one). Elec says, "Good Gas. That's why you're the best little brother in the universe. Now, kill them". Gas looks at Elec and nods his head. He is now able to control his Berserk form, and we will most likely see his overwhelming power in the next chapter of Dragon Ball Super.
