When Baron Mordo introduced the members of the Illuminati, many were shocked upon seeing Anson Mount’s Black Bolt on the ranks of the respectable heroes in the council. He was even called as the King of the Inhumans and that even a whisper can kill because that is how his voice shifted when he underwent the Terrigen Mist.

This made everyone jump to the edge of their seats, especially those who saw the canceled Inhumans series. See, not all Marvel projects did good; there were those who flopped so badly that the people forgot that it exists and the Inhumans series in 2017 was one of those. It really didn’t give justice to the powerful race that even the Agents of SHIELD adaptation of the Inhumans was way better.

Now, with the introduction of Black Bolt as the King of the Inhumans, it is possible that there is hope for the powerful race to make their way into the MCU. Given that the Black Bolt that was introduced and killed by Wanda is from Earth 838, the Inhumans could easily have their counterparts on Earth 616. After all, it’s the multiverse, anything is possible.

The possibility of Inhumans getting its very own reboot is still quite far from happening given that the eyes of everyone are pointed towards that of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four while the current fourth phase of the MCU is going on but the fact that it can come back in a reboot cannot be discounted.
