Doctor Strange 2: New Toy Leak Suggests the Appearance of Beloved Marvel Heroes

WARNING: This article contains potential spoilers about the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Based on the trailers and the rumors and speculations that we've been hearing for the past few months, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is looking to be the most bonkers MCU entry as it is likely going to feature the appearances of several Marvel characters from other universes, with some who we've never seen an iteration before in the MCU. While Marvel Studios haven't obviously confirmed any of them, a new toy leak suggests that it is likely true after all.

According to the LEGO news site Brick Fanatics, an upcoming Sanctum Sanctorum Lego set potentially based on the upcoming Multiverse of Madness is rumored to be released this May or June which will be consist of 2,708 pieces. The juicy part of this leak is that the characters who are allegedly part of the set are the three versions of Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff, Baron Mordo, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.

While the leak didn't say that the set is directly based on Multiverse of Madness, given that three versions of Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff, and Baron Mordo, who are all expected to be part of the film based on the trailer, are part of the characters on the set, we can pretty much assume that it's going to be a tie-in on the upcoming film.

If the toy leak did confirm that Iron Man and Spider-Man are going to be part of the upcoming film, what does it mean about their appearances and which version we might see? For months, there have been rumors that a Superior Iron Man variant played by Tom Cruise is going to show up in the film while there have also been rumors that Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man will also appear at some point during the film. This suggests that there is a possibility thanks to the toy leak that it may actually be true.

Of course, we still have to take this with a grain of salt since Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed yet that the Lego set is part of the film's merchandise. There's also a possibility that the set is not a tie-in to the film at all. We shall just wait and see if this set is an actual Multiverse of Madness merchandise and also find out in the film itself if the rumors and speculations that we've been discussing are true.
