Do NOT Watch The New Knives Out Trailer According To Rian Johnson

Rian Johnson made his mark with directing Star Wars: The Last Jedi. As multiple reports talk about Johnson's trilogy following The Rise of Skywalker, his response would always be vague and does not reveal much information.

Before he gets to work on an indefinite trilogy for Star Wars, Johnson had the chance to direct and make his own twist of a classic whodunnit storyline titled Knives Out.

And since the director gained a bit of a reputation in "ruining" the Star Wars franchise, he may have made a good comeback. With its early release at the Toronto International Film Festival, critics expressed their thoughts on Johnson's spin on the genre.

While the film is nearing its debut, a new trailer was released as part of the studio's marketing campaign. But after seeing Johnson's recent tweet, you might want to think about watching it first.

If you are the type of person who'd like to experience the ooh's and aah's of a specific film you're about to watch, then you're the target audience for Johnson's tweet.

He mentions that he would recommend you to "come in clean" provided that the recent trailer shows some scenes "best experienced for the first time in the movie." Regardless of his tweet, fans shouldn't worry because the trailer would surely not spoil anything.

Seeing that movie trailers are an integral part of promoting the film, Johnson's tweet could be seen as somewhat considerate. Especially for fans who do not have plans on getting spoiled at all means. And with a film as surprising as a murder-mystery genre, it's best to come clean if you're looking forward to a good movie experience.

Knives Out is scheduled for release on November 27.
