Do Maximus and Lucy get together in the Fallout series? While the Bethesda game-based live-action adaptation follows Lucy MacLean searching for her father and answers about the Wastelands, the series also spotlights her love interest outside of Vault 33.
Here's a little summary of her relationship with Maximus and whether they're canon in the games or not.

Are Maximus and Lucy Endgame in the Fallout Series?
Lucy MacLean (played by Ella Purnell) stepped out of Vault 33 with the only goal in mind being to save her father, Hank, from the raiders and bring him back home.
However, little did she know that she'd find someone else along her journey: Maximus (Disjointed's Aaron Clifton Moten), one of the members of The Brotherhood of Steel.
When these two met, Maximus saved Lucy from The Ghoul's kill shot, when The Ghoul was looking to detain the Doctor. At the time, Maximus advised Lucy to escape with the Doctor, Siggi Wilzig.
By their next meeting, Maximus needed to get out of his powered-down suit, which Lucy helped him with. Lucy befriends Maximus and together, they head to Shady Sands.
Their relationship began blooming when they landed in Vault 4 by accident. Despite Maximus finding the place uncomfortable, he eventually adjusted to the environment for her.
They end up separating their ways after leaving the Vault, though. But not without sharing a kiss, which confirmed their relationship in episode 7 titled The Radio.
The ending of the series implied that Maximus felt betrayed when Lucy left him behind with the Brotherhood of Steel.
In reality, Lucy tagged along with The Ghoul for her bigger purpose: finding the men behind the wheel and her father.
Do Maximus and Lucy Also Get Together in the Fallout Games?
While romancing most of your companions in the Fallout games is possible, Maximus and Lucy's romance does not exist canonically in the source material.
As it turns out, this couple was only made specifically for the series on Prime, which some fans think is "forced", as their common sentiment was "Lucy falling in love so quickly bothered me the entire season."
However, other fans who disagreed defended Lucy by saying she grew up thinking that she had to marry strangers from other vaults, which is why "The idea of getting into a relationship with someone she barely knows would be easier for her."
Still, Maximus played a major role in developing Lucy to navigate the Wastelands.
