Cooper Howard (played by Hateful Eight actor Walton Goggins) crosses paths with Lucy MacLean (Yellowjackets' Ella Purnell) in the middle of his search for Lucy's father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan).

The Ghoul had been pretty on the down-low in declaring why he's on the search for her father, specifically, however, this does end up leading him and Lucy to uncover the dark secrets of how they are connected in the Wastelands.

Apart from the Ghoul's addiction to chems (Wasteland drugs), he also has another more concrete reason for taking bounties...

As it turns out, Cooper is in search of his own family. Prior to the nuclear bomb, Cooper's wife, Barb, worked for Vault-Tec, the same company Lucy's father worked for.

Considering that former actor Cooper Howard transformed into a noseless Ghoul after being exposed to intense radiation, he still holds hope that his wife and daughter Janey still live, which is why he took it upon himself as a bounty hunter to search for them.

Unfortunately, even upon reaching the end of Fallout season 1, Cooper doesn't find out where his former family is, meaning we'll only see their story push forward if we get a season 2.

Unfortunately, as of writing, Fallout season 2 has yet to be confirmed, even though the end of season 1 implies there's more to The Ghoul and Lucy MacLean's team-up adventures in store.

Fallout season 1's ending, however, indicates that The Ghoul and Lucy plan on figuring out what Vault-Tec and her father, Hank, plan on doing in New Vegas along the way, especially after learning her tragic family history on how her mother died.

We'll have to wait until they officially confirm season 2 is underway.
