Beyond the world of Wasteland inhabitants, the Prime series also shows a different existing faction outside the society of Vault-Tec Vaults.

It all began when Siggie Wilzig (Michael Emerson), one of the scientists of the Enclave, injected a blue pill right into his neck in Fallout episode 2. But before we get into that, let's get to know more about Wilzig.

Wilzig is a dedicated researcher who lives in the Wasteland near the Boneyards circa 2296. He is the master of the dog CX404, whom he trained and protected despite the canine not being up to protocol standards of following orders.

While authorities failed to recognize CX404 as a part of their successful experiments, Wilzig's dog killed Wilzig's colleague to protect his owner. Thanks to this incident, Wilzig is forced to leave the premises as a wanted man.

But hold on — what about the blue pill he injected in himself? What was that supposed to do?

As it turns out, the mysterious blue pill is supposed to produce unlimited energy. It was originally created in 2077 by Moldaver (aka the raider leader from the New California Republic, right before Vault-Tec stole the chip.

Considering that acquiring the blue pill would be bad for Vault-Tec Vaults' business, it makes sense as to why Wilzig would think of keeping it to himself.

However, because of this decision, he now has the Brotherhood of Steel and the bounty hunter Ghoul named Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins) right on his tail, chasing after the blue pill for their own motives.
