Who Are Arnheid and Einar?
Einar is one of the protagonists in Vinland Saga Season 2. He is originally from Northern England but when the Danish ravaged his village, he and his family had to escape.
But sadly, Einar’s family was murdered right before his eyes and ultimately, he was sold into slavery. Later, he ended up on Ketil’s farm where he met Thorfinn.
It was also on Ketil’s farm where he first met Arnheid. Talking about Arnheid, like Einar she too was Ketil’s slave and was also her concubine and personal maid.
Arnheid was a beautiful woman who was honest and hard-working. She ensured that she remained low-key and lead her slave life without inviting any sort of trouble.

Do Arnheid and Einar End Up Together?
When Einar first saw Arnheid, he was blown away by her beauty. He truly admired her beautiful face and was often embarrassed when she was around.
However, Arnheid and Einar do not fall in love with each other in Vinland Saga. But they end up becoming good friends.
Einar respected her and Arnheid was kind toward him. Meanwhile, Arnheid was married but separated from her husband named Gardar, who was made to work on another farm.
Coming back to Arnheid and Einar, they started bonding with each other on a platonic level in the third episode of Vinland Saga Season 2.
Due to the complexities in her life, he could never be with Arnheid as her lover. Apart from Einar, she also became friends with Thorfinn.
Meanwhile, Gardar managed to escape his farm and attempted to reunite with his wife. He wanted to start a new life away from slavery and discrimination in a new land.
Einar and Thorfinn found out about his plan and decided to help him escape with Arnheid.
Unfortunately, Snake figured out their plan and tried to stop Thorfinn and Einar.

What Happened to Einar and Arnheid at the End of Vinland Saga?
After Snake learns about the escape plan, he started a fight with Thorfinn. Elsewhere, Gardar was stabbed to death and Arnheid was held by Ketil’s men.
When Ketil returned to his farm, he was informed about Arnheid’s attempt to escape with her husband. He got furious at her and started beating her mercilessly.
Later, Arnheid died due to her injuries, and this triggered Einar to escape from Ketil’s farm and lead a free man’s life.
Einar and Thorfinn set out to look for Vinland where they can start a new settlement that is all about freedom and equality.
