As summer approaches, Disney+ releases its slate in a trailer called "Summer of Disney" showing the variety of films and series that are coming into the streaming platform, and making a statement of the prowess it has with a line-up packed with a wide array of shows.

In the trailer, various Disney+ originals, both ongoing and upcoming, are featured and it includes big names from Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar, as well. Some of the shows in the trailer are Marvel's series Loki, and film of Black Widow, Star Wars: the Bad Batch, and Pixar's Monsters at Work and Luca. Raya and the Last Dragon with the short film it came with, Us Again, are lined up also along with previous releases from years before like Eragon, Ice Age 2, We Brought a Zoo, Garfield, Mrs. Doubtfire, and more.

As a rather young streaming platform, Disney+ is already a successful one considering the shows that it has in its vast library, may it be originals or former titles already released years prior. Recently, Disney+ increased its subscription price from $6.99 to $7.99 monthly, and $69.99 to $79.99, and while there has been quite a decline in their subscribers due to their lack of contents for mature audience, the streaming platform was able to answer it immediately with the inclusion of Star where it would have contents from ABC Signature, Searchlight Pictures, Freeform, FX, 20th Television, 20th Century Studios, Touchstone Pictures, Caravan Pictures, and Hollywood Pictures.

Looking at the summer slate of Disney+, it has tons of promising shows ahead which will make you consider subscribing to it, or if you're already subscribed, continue the subscription. They also have Disney Plus Premier Access where they will be releasingBlack Widow for $30 on top of the monthly subscription.
