Did Black Widow Star O.T. Fagbenle Just Spoil the Film?

There's only a few more months until Marvel fans will get to see the story of Natasha Romanoff's past in Black Widow. The upcoming movie is still quite shrouded in mystery, including O.T. Fagbenle's character, which is yet to be revealed. Fans have a pretty solid theory as to who he'll be playing, and it looks like the actor just spoiled it as well.

Taking to Twitter, Fagbenle tweets about the newly released final trailer and poster for the film. While it seems like the actor is just expressing his excitement for the film, fans noticed that Fagbenle added the hashtag "#TM" in that tweet.

For those who have been closely following the movie, you might have already caught on that Fagbenle will play the role of Taskmaster. Pointing out that he has a big part in Black Widow and is the only one with an undisclosed role, which is why it doesn't seem shocking because it's obvious. However, if you're someone who prefers to go in and avoiding hints, theories, or spoilers of any sort prior to watching the film, his tweet may come as a surprise.

It is also important to note that the link to the Instagram post in his tweet isn't available, which could mean that he deleted his first post and created another one without the hashtag. Since tweets cannot be edited, it is also possible that he just decided to not take his Twitter post down.

It is likely that he could play Taskmaster's character in the film, with fans speculating that he'll be introduced as a good guy first before becoming the villain. That said, given the nature of this franchise, there's a whole lot of things that Marvel could do to make a reveal that no one would have seen coming. So while it is very likely that Fagbenle is Taskmaster, there's also the possibility that it'll be another one of the characters.

Black Widow is set for release on May 1.
