Marvel's Final Black Widow Trailer Has Laughs, Backstory, and Espionage Action

The final Black Widow trailer has been released and it is a pretty good time, giving us just enough comedy and action to get everyone excited for this Marvel movie. As usual, there's plenty of new footage to dissect and analyze, though most of us already know that Natasha's going to live so she can die in Avengers: Endgame, unless they have a huge twist we won't see coming.

Fans will be happy to know that new details are revealed about Taskmaster, though his face is never revealed. We see him analyze Natasha's various fights from the MCU while Yelena Belova tells us that he's in control of the Red Room, where all these new Black Widows are being made. It seems like he's going to be this movie's big bad, whereas most of us thought he was just going to be a Winter Soldier-like force to be reckoned with.

New details about these Black Widows are also revealed, with Yelena telling us that they are being controlled but their personalities are conscious, forced to see what the Red Room is making them do. It's a pretty horrifying reveal and one that should have probably been saved for the movie but if you're still watching trailers at this point, you're probably not surprised.

All in all, Black Widow looks like a pretty good espionage film and one that even MCU haters might not enjoy. Sure, there are still jokes and over-the-top stunts that might annoy them but at least it looks cohesive and well-told. Let's hope this movie sticks the landing.

Black Widow comes out on May 1.
