WATCH OUT! POSSIBLE DEMON SLAYER SEASON 3 SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
Demon Slayer Season 3: What To Expect in The Swordsmith Village Arc
We already know that Demon Slayer Season 3 will follow the Swordsmith Village arc (Katanakaji Sato-hen) from the manga and the key visual for the upcoming season dropped two hints about its storyline.
The key visual featured Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira who was referenced by Tengen Uzui in Season 2. We also see Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira who was briefly introduced in the first season. These two characters will play important roles in the Swordsmith Village arc along with another member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Although the third season is confirmed to adapt Katanakaji Sato-hen, it is also believed that the season will be split into two cours. This means the Swordsmith Village arc will only take up the first cour and the second part might adapt the Hashira Training arc from the manga. However, it is important to point out that the Demon Slayer Season 3 episode count has not yet been revealed so take this with a grain of salt.
When Is The Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date?
For now, the Demon Slayer Season 3 release date has not yet been announced. However, Ufotable might already be working on the first few episodes so there's a good chance it will be done near the end of the year.
With that in mind, the anime could be part of the Winter 2023 line-up between December this year and March next year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
