The key visual puts the focus on two Hashiras who will play a major role in the next story arc. It shows Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira who was referenced by Tengen Uzui in Season 2. We also see Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira who was briefly introduced in the first season.

Seeing the two Hashiras further confirms that Demon Slayer Season 3 will adapt the Swordsmith Village arc of the manga. In this particular arc, Muzan Kibutsuji decides that the best way to prevent the Demon Slayer Corps from stopping him is by getting rid of all the people who make their swords. The swordsmen now have to protect the swordsmith from the attack of the Upper Moon demons.

We already got a glimpse of more Upper Rank demons getting in the action. In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 18, it was revealed that Upper Moon 2 Douma was the one who turned Gyutaro and Daki into demons. However, there will be more of these powerful demons who will be ordered to take on the Demon Slayer Corps soon.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
