Demon Slayer Season 2: Yukaku-hen Episode 7 Promises More of Nezuko's Transformation

There is little doubt that the latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 was an exciting one as it focused on the fight between Tanjiro Kamado and the Upper Rank demon Daki. However, that's not the only awesome thing that happened in the sixth episode of the Entertainment District as Nezuko suddenly stepped in to defend her brother. Not surprisingly, the key visual for Yukaku-hen Episode 7 confirmed that Nezuko is ready for more action. But just how intense will her transformation get next week?

In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 13, Tanjiro continued using Hinokami Kagura to fight Daki. However, the Breathing Technique proved to be too much for his body and he eventually struggles to breathe just as he was preparing to make the killing blow. Although Daki thought this was her chance to kill the Demon Slayer, she is suddenly attacked by Nezuko who had emerged from her box.

This leads to a confrontation where the Upper Rank Six severs Nezuko's legs and almost cuts her in half. At first, Daki thinks that she has defeated Tanjiro's demon sister but Nezuko quickly regenerates and bites through her bamboo muzzle. That's when Daki realizes that she is up against something truly powerful and will not get away from the fight unscathed.

Most of Nezuko's transformation has already been revealed in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 13. However, the key visual for next week's episode teases that we haven't seen all of it just yet. In the image, Nezuko appears to be sneering with a wild look in her eyes. Needless to say, we're in for a crazy episode next week.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 14 is titled Transformation ("Henbo") which is a reference to the manga's 83rd chapter. Yukaku-hen Episode 7 will premiere on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 11:15 PM JST.
