There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 16 didn't slow down when it comes to action as the heroes continued to fight against Daki and Gyutaro. However, it looks like defeating the two Upper Rank Six demons is a lot harder than expected. So how exactly will Tengen Uzui and his young companions manage to kill the demons? Zenitsu Agatsuma confirmed that they will need to work together if they want to get rid of the villains!
In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 16, Tengen Uzui and Tanjiro Kamado almost decapitated Gyutaro after Hinatsuru shot the demon with a kunai dart laced with Wisteria extract. Although they were expecting Gyutaro to be paralyzed, the demon immediately managed to regenerate his legs and gain his footing.
As Gyutaro launched his Blood Demon Art on the two, Tengen throws Tanjiro out of harm's way and blocks the attacks. However, he realizes too late that the demon has distracted him to reach Hinatsuru. Luckily, Tanjiro manages to reach them in time and pull Tengen's wife out of the way.
The entire episode is all about the Demon Slayers trying to decapitate Daki and Gyutaro at the same time but this is proving to be an impossible task. Luckily, Zenitsu states that the demons don't need to be beheaded simultaneously and that they just need to work together to keep the severed head apart from the body until the second demon is decapitated.
This certainly sounds like the easiest option and Inosuke immediately works to decapitate Daki and runs away with her head. However, the protective Gyutaro doesn't let him get away as the Demon Slayers face what could be a major tragedy.
Will the Demon Slayers manage to keep Daki's head away or will Inosuke die from his injuries? The truth will be revealed next week.
