If you've watched the latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2, there's a huge chance you're still reeling from everything that happened so far. Episode 14 didn't hold back in all the action as we got to see Nezuko Kamado's upgraded Blood Demon Art and she wasn't the only one. We also got to see Gyutaro's strange power as he faced off against Tengen Uzui!
In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 14, Nezuko continued to face off against Daki, who was completely surprised by the young demon's regenerative powers. As the Upper Rank demon unleashed her obi to sever Nezuko's limbs and cut off her head, it is revealed that the younger Kamado sibling can burn demons with her blood. In addition to that, her blood coagulates and bring her limbs back to her body.
It's an impressive upgrade to Nezuko's Blood Demon Art which we already saw when she ignited her blood to burn away Rui's spider thread away in the first season. However, her blood is also capable of burning demons but remain harmless to humans.
As impressive as Nezuko's Blood Demon Art is, it isn't the only one highlighted in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 14. Gyutaro also debuted in the episode and immediately took on Tengen Uzui, showing off his Flying Blood Sickles, commanding his weapons to move as he orders.
So far, we only saw a glimpse of what Gyutaro is capable of and there is little doubt we'll be seeing more Blood Demon Arts soon. With that in mind, we can't wait for next week's episode of the anime.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 15 is titled Gathering ("Shuketsu") which refers to the manga's 87th chapter. Yukaku-hen Episode 8 will premiere on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 11:15 PM JST.
