Muzan Kibutsuji has a lot of epic moments in Demon Slayer that are celebrated by fans worldwide.

From his dramatic entrance to the Ubuyashiki estate to killing his demon moons, Muzan has some of the best moments in the series that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

  1. Muzan’s Dramatic Walk Towards the Ubuyashiki Estate

The seventh episode of Demon Slayer season 4 shocked fans with an extended episode dedicated to Muzan’s dramatic entrance into the tightly confined Ubuyashiki estate.

After spending a lot of time relying on Nakime’s eyeball familiars to locate the master of the Demon Slayer organization, Muzan finally discovers where Kagaya Ubuyashiki is hiding to finally settle the score between them.

Muzan’s dramatic walk had fans roaring with excitement, as the ending sequence of the anime has always led to his infiltration into the Ubuyashiki estate.

  2. Muzan Summons All the Upper Moon Demons

When Muzan learned of Daki and Gyutaro's deaths, he promptly summoned the higher moon demons to punish them for failing to find the Blue Spider Lily, killing Tanjiro and Nezuko, and killing at least one Hashira member.

He proved his might in front of the higher moons by decapitating Gyokko's head without effort after the latter confessed that he possessed important knowledge that could help Muzan achieve his goal.

While holding Gyokko's severed head, Muzan discussed how he despises change the most in the world.

This scene is so compelling and imposing that it demonstrates Muzan's superiority and difference from the demon moons.

  3. Muzan Ends the Lower Demon Moons

When Muzan learned of Rui's and the spider demons' deaths, he summoned the lesser demon moons to chastise and kill them because they were no longer useful to him.

The ignorant lower demon moons failed to recognize Muzan since he had transformed into a lovely but vicious woman.

They also continued to retort Muzan's statements in their heads, but Muzan was aware of their foolish thoughts about him.

Muzan kills all his lower demon moons one by one, ignoring what they've been up to all these years, except Enmu, who has earned his interest and even more blood.

  4. Muzan Finds Out about Nezuko

By the end of the Swordsmith Village arc, Muzan discovers that Nezuko conquered the sun thanks to Hantengu's efforts.

This revelation delighted Muzan so much that he revealed his true form in front of the people he was living with.

Muzan shifted from his adolescent form to his ordinary form while contemplating his plan to ingest Nezuko and become a perfect being.

Muzan also killed the people who were concerned about him, intensifying the tension and violence of the scene!

  5. Muzan Finishes the Drunkards in Asakusa

After seeing his phony family leave in a carriage in Asakura, Muzan wanders down a dark alley and encounters a gang of drunkards who are so naive that they upset Muzan.

Muzan, a cruel demon king, was unusually calm when one of the drunkards ran into him.

He was allowing the drunkard to go without killing him, but when the latter tested his tolerance by making a dumb remark about his pale complexion, he snapped and became violent.

He killed the drunkard and his older brother, not to mention the poor woman, who turned into nothing after he injected a large amount of his blood into her.

  6. Muzan Meets Tanjiro for the First Time

At Asakusa, Muzan encountered Tanjiro, who dared to grab his shoulder and turn him around while he was out with his bogus family.

Tanjiro's abrupt arrival astonished him, especially the sight of his earrings, which resembled hanafuda cards, which his nemesis had previously worn.

Muzan suddenly used his claws to scratch a man's neck, transforming him into a demon, which distracted Tanjiro and kept him occupied.

For the first time, viewers were introduced to Muzan and his bloody red eyes, which can strike fear in the hearts and minds of both slayers and demons.

  7. Muzan Silences the Swamp Demon

The swamp demon has his share of traumatic moments because of Muzan in the first season of Demon Slayer.

When Tanjiro asked the swamp demon if he knew anything about Muzan, the demon felt shivers go down his spine.

It terrified the swamp demon for his life, as Muzan threatened him to remain silent and not tell anybody about him because he was always watching him wherever he went.

This reaction led Tanjiro to realize that the demons he encounters are terrified of Muzan and that there is more to him than meets the eye.
