A recent listing revealed the alleged runtime of the upcoming MCU film Deadpool and Wolverine ahead of its release this summer.

Fans have been looking forward to the movie since it will finally feature the team-up between Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and it is also expected to feature cameo appearances from the Fox actors.

Considering that it will explore the multiverse, fans have speculated that the film might have an extended runtime to give more time to its epic storytelling and the dozens of cameos that might show up.

AMC Claims Deadpool and Wolverine Has Runtime of 127 Minutes

According to the AMC Theatres listing, Deadpool and Wolverine will have a runtime of 2 hours and 7 minutes, or 127 minutes in total.

This makes it the longest Deadpool movie to date. In comparison, the first film had a 108-minute runtime while Deadpool 2 had a 119-minute runtime.

However, insider @Cryptic4kQual on X disputed the claims as they heard that the 127-minute runtime came from the test screening and advised fans to wait a little longer for the final number.

So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the reported runtime in the listing.

Considering that we're still two months away from the film's release and post-production is still ongoing, we might not be able to get the official final number until the days closer to the release date.

If the 127-minute runtime ends up being true, that would make it shorter than some of the big MCU releases as they usually tend to have runtime of around 150 minutes.

It also suggests that it could be more tightly paced than fans may have expected considering the multiverse aspect of the story, but it is still going to be longer than the previous Deadpool installments so the scale could still feel bigger.

For now, let's wait for an official confirmation regarding the runtime and it is likely that we will hear about it once we're closer to the release.

Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
