Deadpool Actor Ryan Reynolds Has Hilarious Reaction to Paul Rudd's Sexiest Man Alive Win

The world of entertainment is rejoicing for Marvel actor Paul Rudd and his latest achievement after People Magazine hailed him as 2021's Sexiest Man Alive. The star of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe offering Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania has joined an elite circle of actors, which includes his MCU castmates such as Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan, and the latest addition to the family Ryan Reynolds.

The Deadpool star won the coveted title back in 2010 and naturally, he's well aware of the weight the honor carries. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the star of Netflix's Red Notice congratulated Rudd on his monumental win. In true Ryan Reynolds fashion, the actor poked fun at Rudd's appearance and according to him, he knows the secret behind his youthfulness.

Reynolds claims that Rudd is aging the way he does because he made a pact with the devil himself. So, is he implying that Ant-Man and Mephisto are running buddies? Here's what he had to say: "I'm happy for Paul, because, A, he's possibly the nicest human being in all of show business. He's aging backward because of his contract with Satan. Or he only drinks breast milk from a blue whale or something. I heard he does something weird. And I want in. Whatever Benjamin Button's this life if we could."

Paul and Ryan are definitely among the funniest actors in the MCU and it got me thinking, it would be hella neat if Scott Lang and Wade Wilson would have a run-in in the billion-dollar franchise. Imagine a team-up film between Ant-Man and Deadpool, that would be something I'd be totally down to seeing. The real question is, will Scott be able to survive Phase Four given the huge threat Kang the Conqueror imposes and wait for the eventual arrival of the Merc with a Mouth? My fingers are crossed.

Meanwhile, speaking of Rudd, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits cinemas in 2023.
