Paul Rudd has been charming audiences for nearly three decades now but for the longest time, he's always been seen as an underrated actor by many. Now, he's adding another prestigious accolade to his already decorated career. People Magazine officially named the Ant-Man star as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2021 and quite frankly, he totally deserves the nod. However, there's some confusion going on amongst fans as several sources recently reported that Rudd's MCU co-star Chris Evans was the one who received the nod. Turns out, that was all but hearsay.

Unsurprisingly, Chris Evans' avid fans weren't having any of it, especially after the rumors circulated online about the actor winning the title ahead of People's announcement. Taking to Twitter to rant about him losing the coveted title, some fans even attacked Rudd for being hailed as this year's Sexiest Man Alive and said he was undeserving of the recognition. There have been rumblings that Evans was supposed to bag the title last year but his viral nude scandal ultimately cost him the honor. Well, I guess Ant-Man is the better man this time around but considering Chris and Paul have become friends in real life, thanks to their time in the MCU, I'm pretty sure there's no beef between them over Rudd's huge win. Chris will definitely get his time.

Meanwhile, speaking of Rudd, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits cinemas in 2023.
