MCU fans have been anticipating the release of the first trailer for Deadpool 3 as we're now around five months away from its arrival in theaters. The film won't just team up the Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine, but it will also bring back several characters from the Fox Marvel movies.

Fortunately, just in time for this year's Super Bowl, we finally have our very first preview of the highly-anticipated film as well as its official title.

Marvel Studios Releases First Trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine

Marvel Studios has unveiled the teaser trailer for Deadpool 3 which is officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine. They also released a TV spot during the Super Bowl telecast.

The preview gave us our very first look at Deadpool's adventure in the MCU as well as his team-up with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, whom we've also seen brief glimpses of during the final shot with his comic-accurate costume.

It also revealed the return of the supporting characters from the first two films who all showed up for Wade Wilson's birthday, the new version of the TVA and Matthew Macfadyen's Agent Paradox, and the appearance of Aaron Stanford as Pyro, another returning cast member from the Fox X-Men movies.

As expected, the trailer was also full of jokes as they acknowledged that the film was being made under Disney and Marvel Studios and how the Merc with a Mouth might save the MCU by calling himself the "Marvel Jesus."

Despite the brief glimpses at Wolverine and the cameos/easter eggs that we might see in the film, it was still a great preview of what we can expect from the only MCU theatrical release this year, especially with so many surprises that they have in store.

It is very likely that more trailers will be released in the coming months and give us more glimpses of what else they have in store as well as an extended look at Wolverine's return.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
