A lot of MCU fans have been excited for Deadpool 3 as it will feature the return of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Jennifer Garner's Elektra, and potentially more actors from the Fox Marvel movies if the rumors surrounding the other castings in the film are true.

There have also been reports that the film will also feature more variants of Deadpool just like the ones that we've seen in the comics although none of the people involved in the project has also confirmed it yet.

Since the film's production is currently on pause, fans can't help but speculate endlessly surrounding what we can expect on the titular mercenary's first MCU adventure as it is looking like it will be more epic and bonkers than the first two movies.

Now, it looks like one of the rumors that fans have been talking about might be true after all as suggested by the star of the film himself.

Recently, journalist Caleb Williams wrote a post on X speculating that Ryan Reynolds' The Adam Project co-star Walker Scobell is making a cameo appearance as Kidpool in Deadpool 3.

Sometime later, Reynolds himself liked the post which prompted fans to speculate that he is seemingly confirming in this interaction that Scobell is indeed appearing in the MCU film.

So far, the actor has not explained why he liked that particular post although he is unlikely to provide any definitive confirmation given that the ongoing actors' strike forbids them to promote or discuss their works.

This is certainly an interesting situation that fans can't help but speculate and discuss online since it is starting to look like this is the confirmation that Scobell is part of Deadpool 3 and the rumors surrounding Kidpool's appearance are true after all.

Given that Reynolds has worked with Scobell and the two got along during the making of The Adam Project, it would make sense that the Deadpool actor recruited his former co-star to be part of the film and play a role like Kidpool.

Scobell is also already part of the Disney family since he is starring in the upcoming highly-anticipated Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV series on Disney+ and, given that his career is on the rise, there is no doubt that Marvel Studios also has their eye on him to be part of the MCU.

We should be able to hear a definitive confirmation surrounding Scobell's casting in the MCU film once the strikes are over or during the marketing campaign ahead of its release.

Deadpool 3 is currently slated for release in theaters on May 3, 2024.
