Deadpool 3 is set to bring back several characters from the Fox Marvel movies. So far, only Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Jennifer Garner's Elektra are confirmed to return in the upcoming film, but more names are also being rumored to make their appearances as well.
Aside from the heroes, rumors have claimed that a couple of villains from the X-Men films are also set to return for a cameo in the film and a lot of fans have been looking forward to seeing how they will factor into the story.
Now, another X-Men veteran has been added to the rumor mill and it's one of the villains that the heroes faced in the first film.

X-Men Villain Toad is Reportedly Appearing in Deadpool 3
According to insider Daniel Richtman (via Heroic Hollywood), X-Men villain Toad is set to return in Deadpool 3. However, there is no indication whether Ray Park reprised the role in the film.
The character also made an appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past with Evan Jonigkeit playing the role. Marvel Studios has not commented on the rumor yet.
Assuming that the rumor is true, it is a great treat for long-time fans of the past X-Men films since it looks like the new film will be a full celebration of the Fox Marvel history and they didn't forget to acknowledge the characters that are not necessarily well-known to a casual fan.
It is interesting to see how Toad will play into the story and how he got involved in the film since he died in the events of the film although the multiverse aspect may have made it easier for them to bring him back.
Aside from Toad, Ian McKellen's Magneto has also been rumored to make an appearance in the film. Liev Schreiber will also reportedly reprise his role from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but that remains unconfirmed as well.
This might not be the last time that we will hear an actor or character that is rumored to appear in the film and more scoops may emerge surrounding the surprises that they have in store. For now, let's see how it will all unfold.
