For the longest time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was treated as its own separate entity but that all changed when the franchise began incorporating the multiverse concept into their ongoing stories.

Since the start of Phase Four, we've already seen several "non-MCU" actors show up in various projects, including the likes of Evan Peters, Patrick Stewart, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.

Now, it looks like more "legacy" stars are headed to Earth-616 with Deadpool 3 reportedly shaping up to be a massive mutant reunion.

Twitter scooper @CanWeGetToast dropped a bombshell today, claiming that Hugh Jackman isn't the only X-Men actor crossing over to the MCU. According to the reliable tipster, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden are set to reprise their roles as Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops respectively.

Just last week, Halle fueled speculation online after showing off her new hairdo which closely resembles one of her looks as Ororo Munroe in the Fox-Verse. It even caught the attention of Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld who's convinced the Academy Award winner is joining the cast of the threequel.

As it stands, however, Marvel Studios has yet to make anything official although the idea no longer sounds farfetched, especially with the things we've seen so far from the Multiverse Saga.

It's worth noting though that Kevin Feige reportedly wants the Multiverse Saga to become a full-blown reunion for Marvel stars from the yesteryears, with the intention of the MCU, FoxVerse, and SonyVerse all coming together culminating in 2026's Avengers: Secret Wars.

Personally, I'm excited to see how it all plays out because it has a good chance of topping what Spider-Man: No Way Home accomplished in terms of fun and nostalgia. Hopefully, Marvel Studios actually pulls this one off.

Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 is currently slated for a theatrical release on November 8, 2024.
