The idea of Deadpool crossing over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe seemed like a huge pipe dream for years but following Disney's massive acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, it became crystal clear that it was only a matter of time before Wade Wilson wreaked havoc and brought his fourth-wall-breaking antics to Earth-616.

Last year, Ryan Reynolds himself revealed that he wasn't coming to the MCU alone. In an internet-breaking announcement, Reynolds confirmed that X-Men icon Hugh Jackman will also be joining the project to reprise his role as Wolverine, five years after he "retired" the mantle in Logan.

Now, it appears that filming has officially kickstarted for Deadpool 3 and it won't be long until we get some juicy information about the R-rated threequel.

Reports surrounding Deadpool 3's production start date started circulating this week and lo and behold, one of its stars, Colossus actor Stefan Kapicic officially confirmed on social media that filming for the Merc with a Mouth's highly anticipated MCU arrival has already begun.

On his recent Instagram stories, the actor shared a post revealing that cameras started rolling for Deadpool 3 on May 23rd, Tuesday.

Jackman also took to Instagram to share photos of him as he arrived in London ahead of the project filming. Sporting a Logan-esque facial hair, I think we already know what this version of Wolverine would end up looking like.

Following the news, insider MyTimeToShineHello took to Twitter to tease the first details about the film she promises to disclose soon. The reliable MCU scooper claims that the third Deadpool film will be "weird as hell".

While we don't know exactly what it means, our fingers are crossed that it'll be weird in a good way. Check out the tweet here:
