DC Comics Shares Inspiriing Tribute To Marvel Legend Stan Lee

Comic book fans around the world are mourning the death of Marvel co-creator Stan Lee, but it's not just the fans of Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four who are taking it to social media to celebrate the legend's incredible legacy. Celebrities like Dwayne Johnson and Mark Hamill have posted their tributes online and now, DC Comics ~ home of Superman, Batman, The Flash, and more~ shared a touching tribute to Lee, reminding everyone how he embodied the positivity that comics can bring to their readers.

"He changed the way we look at heroes, and modern comics will always bear his indelible mark," DC Comics wrote. "His infectious enthusiasm reminded us why we all fell in love with these stories in the first place. Excelsior, Stan."

Even though Stan Lee is known for his Marvel creations, the writer briefly worked for DC Comics as a writer of a series called Just Imagine, in which he reimagines several DC heroes as if he would have written them.
